Hello Everyone

Children in Need

Well done to all of our children who made a fantastic effort for Children in Need today. Our children chose a ‘spooky’ dressing up theme for the day and there were some brilliant costumes. Of course, the aim of the day is to raise money for a great charity and our latest total is at £235! A superb effort!

Christmas Dates

I hope you have received our Christmas dates this week so that you know what is coming up at the school over the festive period. If not, feel free to call in to our school office or you can find a copy of the dates on our website. Please look out for further letters regarding Christmas Dinner, Party Box Lunch and the Christmas Fundraiser that will be coming out in the next few days; get these back to us as soon as possible to ensure your child doesn't miss out.

Football Team—Girls

Our girls kept their unbeaten record this week by beating Brierley Forest Primary 4-0. They now go into the Winter break top of the league! Well done girls and well done Naomi on a superb ’player of the match’ performance.

PE Kits

Please make sure your child has a PE kit in school so that they are well prepared for taking part. During the cold months, there may still be times when we take children outside for PE (avoiding extreme weather) so if you want to provide your child with jogging bottoms and jumper this would be beneficial.

Welcome Back Phil

As you know, Phil has been back with us at school this week after his recent trip to support the LREC school in Liberia. He came back armed with stories, gifts and pen-pal letters for our children. Welcome back Phil!

There is a busy weekend this weekend with the next meeting in the Cross Country League on Saturday and a trip to watch the Nottingham Panthers on Sunday. I hope you all have a great weekend as well!
Have a great weekend!
